Ghost stamping....

Hi there I hope you are thrilled by the new release from last Friday and maybe ordered some of the goodies already. Here is some more inspiration for you.

I wanted to try the ghost stamping technique with alcohol inks and archival ink. And the new stamps are perfect for this technique don't you think so?

I went with a horizontal cardbase and diecut a panel out of yupo paper specially for alcolhol inks. Used three colors of alcohol ink to spread over my paper and a paintbrush and a straw to let the alcohol ink run over the paper. Once I was satisfied I let the paper dry and stamped the image using archival ink and immediately wiped the ink of with a cloth. Stamped the little fairy and colored it with copics and cut it. Stamped the sentiment on some black cardstock and white heat embossed it.
finished the card of with some glitter drops from nuvo.

Superpower and swooshes.

Cool cuts (dies);

Double stitched rectangles.

Make sure you visit the shop and the blog for much more inspiration and please join in the fun in our challenges you might get your hands on some of the great supplies.

Have a great week;

Hugs Anja

Playing with New March Releases!

YAY! New releases!!! I'm here to share with you 2 stamps sets from the new release. However, do check this blog everyday because I'm sure you'll see more inspiration from the other design team members. Head over to the Create A Smile store to check out the entire release! You won't regret it :D

And I hope you'll stay tune because I will be sharing my cards using these release next Sunday as well!

For my first card, I'm using the delicately designed Easter Eggs stamp set

This stamp sets was just screaming at me to use white embossing powder. I tried to keep the watercolouring on the light side to match the delicate designs of the eggs.

Next is the Swooshes stamp set. This set is such a unique set. I've never used anything like that and I can't wait to experiment with it.

Rainbow was the first thing that came to mind when I saw this set. I've pick two stamps from the same to create this alternating pattern. To give a bit of dimension, I've filled it some of the circles with Ranger White Enamel Accents.

March Release Countdown #2

Hello crafty friends!

Many of you already heard the news on Facebook and instagram - there's a new release coming THIS FRIDAY!
So you only have two more days to get prepared - woohoo!

There are products for everyone: something cute, somthing elegant, something super versatile and sentiments in English and German. We're also releasing two fabulous new stencils.
So let's see what we've got:

And the design team created some WONDERFUL cards using the new products:

Anni made this wooooonderful card using "Easter Eggs". The sentiment is from "happy days" which is an older, super versatile sentiment set ;) Dont you just love those bright colors with the white embossed eggs?

Anja always thinks "out of the box" - i love her creative ideas!" Look how she put the bunny from "superpowers" into the easter eggs <3

Ale used the "Swooshes" for a super fun embossed background with inkblending! Looks dreamy to me!

Who loves fairies? Nicole used the fairy from "Superpowers" withone of the "Swoshes" - her inkblended background makes that scene POP!

The unicorn trend has been a round quite a while and we didn't mean to do unicorns. But SO MANY of you asked for a Create A Smile unicorn, so we couldn't resist any longer. Raluca created the PERFECT scene for those fun and colorful creatures - that cloudbackground rocks!

Sam's card using "Superpowers" and "swooshes" is perfect for a friend who loves reading (or loves stories about magicians and their book of spells ;) ). That background is so eyecatching!

 I also made a card for you, using the cute supermouse from "suerpowers". That image goes so well with the landscapes from "Lucent Landscapes" - a match made in heaven!

We have more amazing inspiration-projects for you, so be sure to check back tomorrow to get inspired and swoon about all the fantastic cards this awesome team created! (Superproud teamleader over here!)
